    Position Summary

    *This posting is for the purpose of creating a hiring pool for consideration for future openings.*


    Outside "A" Operator position that assists the area console operator in operating the area equipment and maintaining maximum quality production unit rates.  Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical problems in the unit.  Takes instruction from the console operator, process control coordinator, or shift foreman. 


    Position can be physically demanding--open and close valves, climbing ladders and stairs, considerable walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching and climbing; all environments; working around hazardous chemicals.


    Must be respirator certified; must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions and keep written records

    Maintain a safety mindset and follow all safe operating procedures.


     Associate or Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 2-year Process Technology Degree; 5 years relevant operating experience in a manufacturing or chemical/refinining operation.
